Lest we forget, the Rose Hill 9-11 memorial exists to:
-Commemorate, educate, and provide a display remembering the events of September 11, 2001.
-Honor those lives lost as well as those who risked their lives to save others, and those whose injuries remain today.
-Ensure that generations to come understand the significance of the event and legacies of this day, so they have the tools and perspective to negotiate the challenges ahead.
-Recognize the endurance of those who survived and that at any time we may be called upon to put our own well-being aside in order to help others.
Let this memorial serve as a reminder of how we as a world, nation, and community responded to this evil action by strengthening our bonds with one another.
