Lest we forget, the Rose Hill 9-11 memorial exists to:
Commemorate, educate, and provide a display remembering the events of September 11, 2001.
Honor those lives lost as well as those who risked their lives to save others, and those whose injuries remain today.
Ensure that generations to come understand the significance of the event and legacies of this day, so they have the tools and perspective to negotiate the challenges ahead.
Recognize the endurance of those who survived and that at any time we may be called upon to put our own well-being aside in order to help others.
Let this memorial serve as a reminder of how we as a world, nation, and community responded to this evil action by strengthening our bonds with one another.
